OUR STORY

At Tauro Pro Line, our journey began with a small poodle named Kika—the first dog to capture the heart of our founder, Janita J. Plungė. Kika was more than a beloved pet; she was the start of Janita's lifelong passion for dogs and their care. It was through Kika that Janita discovered the profound bond between humans and their pets, igniting a dedication that would shape her life's work.

As the years passed, Janita became a renowned groomer and breeder, earning a reputation for her expertise and devotion to raising healthy, happy dogs. Her work with delicate breeds like Bichons and Pomeranians revealed the challenges of maintaining their sensitive coats and skin, even with well-known grooming products. She realized that the solutions available on the market often fell short of achieving the results she desired.

Though Kika was no longer with her, Janita’s early lessons from her first dog remained deeply ingrained. Inspired by her years of experience and the drive to create better solutions, Janita founded Tauro Pro Line. This brand became the culmination of her journey, offering experience-based grooming products that meet the needs of even the most sensitive and delicate pets.

Janita’s passion for dogs extended beyond companionship and into a professional commitment. As a groomer and breeder, she focused on raising happy, healthy Bichon Frise‘s, Malteses and Pomeranian Spitz. However, she soon faced challenges that existing grooming products couldn’t solve—tears staining, coats losing their shine, sensitive skin becoming irritated, and even cases of alopecia in some dogs.

Unable to find products that met her high standards, Janita decided to create her own. Using her more than 35 years of experience, she developed formulas designed to address the unique needs of dogs with delicate coats and sensitive skin. What began as a personal quest for better care evolved into Tauro Pro Line, a brand offering professional-grade solutions backed by research, testing, and dedication.
